CAE Defense & Security Extends P-8A Poseidon MRA1 Training Support Contract with Boeing Defense UK for the Royal Air Force

United Kingdom – CAE Defense & Security has extended its contract with Boeing Defense UK to continue delivering training support for the Royal Air Force's P-8A Poseidon MRA1 maritime patrol aircraft fleet at RAF Lossiemouth, building on a partnership that commenced with the original award in 2021.

• Under the extended contract, CAE UK will continue to deliver specialist rear crew and engineering instruction covering Weapon System Operators (WSOp) in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) roles including Acoustics (ACO) and Electronic Warfare (EW), as well as Weapon System Officers (WSO).
• Aircraft technician instruction across Avionics, Mechanical, and Weapons disciplines will also continue, along with CAE providing experienced console operators and controllers to support role-playing during training and mission rehearsal scenarios.
• The extension reflects the long-term nature of CAE's platform-specific training partnerships in the defense sector, with the company embedded at RAF Lossiemouth since the program's inception to support operational readiness for the P-8A's critical maritime patrol role.
