Iceland — CAE Icelandair Flight Training, the training center of Iceland's flag carrier Icelandair, has selected an FTD.aero high-fidelity A320 flight training device for its pilot training.
With this order, Icelandair joins a growing list of airlines that have placed their trust in FTD.aero, further strengthening the flight simulator manufacturer's footprint in the airline training sector.
The simulator will feature a type-specific cockpit and is engineered to fully align with the new EASA capability-based framework and take full advantage of its FSTD Capability Signature (FCS). This means maximum flexibility and utilization, with the potential to apply it across a broad range of training tasks under the framework's task-to-tool methodology.
FTD.aero looks forward to supporting CAE Icelandair Flight Training on its journey towards training excellence with cutting-edge, future-proof simulator technology.
