Las Vegas, Nevada, USA – CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician I for its training center in Las Vegas. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators and associated systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have strong IT, software, and troubleshooting expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on simulators and systems
- Diagnose and resolve routine issues with simulation equipment
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight tasks, including basic visual alignments
- Run and analyze Qualification Test Guides (QTGs)
- Maintain records of maintenance activities using the management system
- Assist with hardware modifications and simulator refurbishment
- Provide customer service support and address client needs promptly
Candidate Requirements
- 2-year technical degree, equivalent training, or military avionics experience
- Software knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electronics/avionics or automated systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and knowledge of analog and digital theory
- Basic skills in test equipment operation, soldering, and circuit board repair (preferred)
- Familiarity with PCs and MS Office tools
