Canada - CAE is seeking a Director, Marketing Strategy & Product Marketing to lead and shape strategic marketing efforts across its global Commercial Aviation business units. Based in Montreal, this senior leadership role will drive marketing initiatives that enhance CAE’s brand presence and support its position as the worldwide aviation training partner of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with each business unit’s objectives and roadmaps
Ensure implementation of data-driven, results-oriented marketing plans
Collaborate with business unit leaders and internal stakeholders to align priorities
Manage marketing budgets, performance tracking, and stakeholder engagement
Product Marketing
Define go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and value propositions
Oversee the creation of sales enablement materials and content for internal and external use
Manage product launches and ensure alignment between product capabilities and sales objectives
Partner with sales to conduct win-loss reviews and optimize strategies
Maintain marketing collateral and ensure alignment with CAE brand guidelines
Governance & Performance
Oversee marketing plan governance and performance reporting
Track and report campaign effectiveness, ensuring alignment with initial KPIs and budgets
Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders on campaign progress and outcomes
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of marketing strategists and product marketing professionals
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure best practices in processes and tools, performance management, and succession planning
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, BD, and BU leaders
Candidate Requirements
15+ years in marketing, including 10+ years in strategic leadership roles
Deep experience across key functions: marketing strategy, product marketing, digital, brand, and communications
Proven success developing B2B marketing strategies in a fast-paced, global environment
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset
Fluent in marketing technologies and digital platforms
