Rome, Italy – CAE is hiring a Junior Simulator Technician to support operations at its new training center in Rome. The role involves maintaining flight simulators and training devices, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations in alignment with CAE’s global standards for safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and readiness checks on training devices
  • Support updates to navigation databases, performance data, and lesson plans
  • Assist with logistics duties, including inventory management and shipping preparations
  • Identify recurring issues and propose permanent solutions
  • Pursue expertise in simulator systems such as visual, motion, or flight controls
  • Promote a safe workplace culture and ensure compliance with environmental policies

Candidate Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation, with 1–3 years of related experience
  • Legal right to work within the EU
  • Excellent English proficiency (Italian language skills preferred)
  • Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, and programming languages
  • Familiarity with flight simulator systems and aircraft types (e.g., Airbus family)
  • Basic understanding of commercial aviation training and EASA/ENAC regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
