CAE Philippines Hosts Indiana Aerospace University Cadets for Airline Type Rating Career Pathway Exposure Session

Philippines - CAE Philippines, the Southeast Asia training centre of global pilot training provider CAE, hosted a group of cadet pilots from Indiana Aerospace University in March 2026 for an industry exposure visit, providing students with a structured introduction to the pathway from Commercial Pilot Licence training through to airline aircraft type rating programmes.

• The visit was designed to bridge the gap between ab initio flight training and the type rating phase, giving Indiana Aerospace University cadets firsthand exposure to the full flight simulator environment and an understanding of how commercial pilot qualifications translate into airline operational readiness.
• CAE Philippines operates Airbus A320 and ATR 72-600 full flight simulators at its training centre in Clark, Philippines, serving both type rating and recurrent training requirements for airline customers across the region.
