Austria – CAE Defense & Security has announced that its CAE Prodigy 4.0 simulation standard has achieved Ready for Training (RFT) status on the Austrian Eurofighter Full Mission Simulator, marking the platform's first implementation in a fast-jet training environment. The expansion of CAE Prodigy into fighter training extends the simulation standard's application from its established presence in civil aviation and military transport training into the high-performance combat aircraft segment, positioning CAE's visual and simulation technology across a broader range of military pilot training pipelines at a time when European defense spending increases are driving accelerated investment in synthetic training capacity.

  • CAE Prodigy 4.0 has reached Ready for Training status on the Austrian Eurofighter Full Mission Simulator, its first operational deployment in a fast-jet training role.
  • The implementation was delivered through cross-regional collaboration between CAE teams in Europe and North America, working with the Austrian customer.
  • CAE Prodigy 4.0 provides enhanced visual realism and immersive training environments designed to support aircrew preparation for complex mission scenarios with higher fidelity than previous simulation standards.
  • The milestone extends CAE Prodigy's application footprint, which already includes civil aviation full flight simulators and defense training systems across multiple aircraft types, into the fast-jet combat training domain.
  • AFM has extensively covered CAE Prodigy's deployment across civil and military platforms, including its integration into the Singapore-CAE Flight Training Boeing 777X simulator, the Embraer–CAE Training Services Eve eVTOL simulator, and multiple airline training center installations worldwide.
