Global – CAE and Saab have signed a worldwide cooperation agreement that positions CAE as Saab’s preferred training and simulation supplier for its GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) platform and selected Saab programmes. The agreement also includes a Canada-specific partnership to jointly pursue Canada’s AEW&C requirement, signalling a significant expansion of AEW&C training capability anchored in the Canadian defence-industrial ecosystem.
Under the global agreement, CAE will develop and deliver simulation-based training solutions for Saab’s international GlobalEye campaigns and other AEW&C platforms.
CAE’s contribution includes flight training devices, integrated mission-training platforms, and a digital training ecosystem replicating real-world operational complexity for aircrew, mission specialists, and technicians.
Saab highlighted that CAE’s involvement will support long-term operational readiness for GlobalEye users worldwide as demand for advanced AEW&C capability accelerates.
The partnership leverages CAE’s extensive training-centre network to deliver pilot and maintenance training, reinforcing mission competency across AEW&C fleets globally.
