CAE to expand Business Aviation Training footprint with new West Coast Business Aviation Training center in Las Vegas
CAE announced today, at the 2021 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual convention and exhibition, the expansion of its business aviation footprint with the introduction of a new flight-training location in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the Company’s first West Coast training facility in the United States, this new location marks a major milestone in CAE’s ongoing growth and objective of being close to where customers operate their aircraft.
Slated to open in the Summer of 2022, the brand-new CAE Las Vegas Training Center strengthens CAE’s reach and capabilities in the business aviation flight-training market while meeting the increased demand for pilots in the region.
“This new training center is an important addition to our global network of centers and underscores our commitment to helping the business aviation industry build and grow a strong pipeline of pilots,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President Civil Aviation Training Solutions. “We look forward to playing a key supportive role in Nevada’s aerospace and defense industry for many years to come. The State of Nevada and City of Las Vegas have been incredibly welcoming to CAE. We are excited to be a party of this vibrant community and we look forward to contributing to its impressive economic development.”
Currently under construction, the new, state-of-the-art training center will house eight full-flight simulators. This investment in CAE’s training network will ensure that business aviation customers have complete access to CAE’s industry-leading technology and training expertise to elevate their safety, efficiency and readiness.
