Phnom Penh, Cambodia based newly started flight school Novation Academy, is seeking a B1.2/B3 License Aircraft Engineer / Maintenance Manager. Please see an extract of the job post below.
“Key Responsibilities:
- Projects and tasks related to maintenance of aircrafts.
- Overseeing and issuing CRS on Light Aircrafts Magnus Fusion 212 and Tecnam P2006T with Rotax Engines including managing a pool of technicians and preparing training aircraft for operations.
- Able to support work at odd hours as per company Requirements.
- Willing to learn and also train technicians.
- Able to generate duty rosters for operation technicians.
- Able to understand maintenance intervals and plan periodic maintenance checks and also monitoring of spares and records
- Able to write weekly reports and report to Head of Training.
- To ensure good coordination of the different stakeholders
- Compliance with applicable regulations
- Liaise with Civil Aviation Authority
- Ensure that facilities, premises, and equipment are maintained to a certain standard.
Skills:
- Advance level in English.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- An enthusiastic team member with a positive attitude.
- Collaborative mindset to build relationships with the team and stakeholders.
Experience, Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
- Holding a valid B1.2 or B3 Aeroplanes -Piston Licences ICAO Type ll.
- Certifying experience on GA Aircraft/Rated Single Engine Piston / Multi Engine Piston Aircrafts.
- Experience with Rotax 912 series engine.
- Experience with aircraft metal and composite structures repair is valuable.
- Appropriate type training will be provided for engineers without rating on SEP/MEP aircrafts.
- Willing to relocate to Cambodia.”
