The International Pilot Academy is a leading flight training school located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The academy is affiliated with Cégep Heritage College to provide fully accredited education to prospective pilots and is currently seeking a Chief Flight Instructor.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Flight Instructor located in Ottawa, ON. The Chief Flight Instructor will be responsible for overseeing the quality of flight training provided by the academy, including instrument rating, commercial piloting, flight safety, and piloting. The Chief Flight Instructor will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our flight training school.

Qualifications

• Experience in instrument rating, aviation, commercial piloting, flight safety, and piloting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of flight instructors
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex aviation concepts to students
• A valid Canadian commercial pilot’s license with a minimum of 3,000 hours of flight experience
• An air traffic controller license is a plus
• A Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field is preferred
