Canada — Genesis Flight College has been recognized as Canada’s Top Commercial Pilot Training Service for 2025 by Aerospace & Defense Review, highlighting the Collingwood-based flight school’s leadership in developing airline-ready pilots for Canada’s rapidly growing aviation sector.
The college’s flagship Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence (iATPL) program provides over 600 hours of flight and simulator experience, nearly three times Transport Canada’s minimum requirement.
Genesis employs a team of professional instructors, including former Canadian Air Force and airline captains, ensuring that cadets are trained to commercial airline standards.
The college also operates its own aircraft maintenance organization (AMO) to ensure consistent training reliability and safety oversight.
President David Gascoine emphasized the school’s commitment to producing capable, confident pilots rather than focusing on volume: “Our aim is not to mass-produce pilots. We've built a student-centered, leadership-first program that develops resilience, confidence, and decision-making skills that hold under pressure.”
