Canadian FTO Adds New Operator in 2025 to Free Agent Program

Canada – Cygnet Aviation Academy has announced a new partnership with Air Tindi, one of Northern Canada’s leading charter and scheduled service provider, joining as a referral partner for Cygnet’s Free Agent Program. The collaboration will allow Cygnet graduates to interview directly with Air Tindi, opening up new employment opportunities across the carrier’s diverse operations in passenger, cargo, and medevac services.

About the Free Agent Program

• Developed in collaboration with CAE, Cygnet’s Free Agent Program is designed for aspiring pilots seeking Transport Canada-approved Integrated ATPL training without being bound to a specific airline cadet scheme.
• The 18-month course, priced at approximately CAD 122,400 before taxes, includes full ATPL instruction, a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) module, and progressive payment options through multiple training phases.
• Students train on Diamond DA20, DA40, and DA42 aircraft, with ground and simulator instruction conducted at Cygnet’s state-of-the-art Gardiners Road facility in Kingston and flight operations based at Kingston Airport (CYGK).
