Tajikistan – Somon Air, the national airline of Tajikistan, has committed to its largest aircraft order to date by selecting up to 14 Boeing aircraft, including its first-ever widebody jets. The agreement with Boeing includes both long-haul and single-aisle aircraft and reflects the airline’s strategy to modernize its fleet and expand its international network.

  • The commitment includes up to four Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, marking Somon Air’s entry into widebody operations, and up to ten 737-8 aircraft to renew and grow its short- and medium-haul capabilities.
  • Somon Air currently operates a fleet of six Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft and serves 25 destinations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
