India – Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA), which operates two flight training bases in India, has reported combined flight operations data for April and May 2026, recording 7,864 flight hours, 5,269 flights, 7,742 landings, and 4,035 solo hours across its two training bases at Dhana and Neemuch. The group also surpassed 200,000 flying hours since its establishment.

Earlier this year Chimes Aviation Academy had marked 18 years of flight training operations, with its fleet now standing at 33 aircraft and over 1,000 pilots trained since its establishment in 2008.

  • CAA has grown its fleet to 33 aircraft from 27 reported at the end of 2025, following the induction of three Piper Archer aircraft at its Neemuch base in January 2026. The academy operates from multiple strategic airfields in Madhya Pradesh.
  • The academy has trained over 1,000 aspiring pilots across its 18-year history, contributing to India's commercial pilot supply through its ab-initio training programs including Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) pathways.
  • A cornerstone of CAA's operations is its Cadet Pilot Program with IndiGo, India's largest airline, directly addressing the country's rising demand for commercial pilots. In January 2026, CAA hosted IndiGo's Learning & Development team for a CBTA-focused training collaboration.
