China– The 13th Civil Aviation Training & Education Summit (CATES) 2025, taking place from April 24–25, will bring together aviation training leaders from airlines, academia, OEMs, and training organisations across China and internationally. The summit features a comprehensive agenda covering, pilot training, evidence-based training (EBT), flight simulation, CBTA implementation, and emerging technologies.
CATES 2025 includes dedicated tracks for Cabin Crew Safety, Flight Simulation, and Pilot Training, all aimed at advancing aviation training standards in China and beyondKey themes include CBTA/EBT implementation, scenario-based training, fatigue management, and simulator technology innovationsMajor contributors include Air China, China Eastern, Shenzhen Airlines, Junyao Airlines, Shandong Airlines, and international organisations such as CAE, Lufthansa Group, and JALThe Flight Simulation Conference highlights domestic simulator innovation, virtual/augmented reality applications, and low-cost simulator developmentThe main pilot training agenda addresses instructor performance monitoring, fatigue research, UPRT, and CBTA-based type rating developmentNotable presentations will be delivered by executives from CAE, CPaT Global, JAL, Lufthansa Group, and Northwestern Polytechnical University
