China & Australia – Chinese flight simulator manufacturer U-Wing has signed a second procurement contract with Singapore Flying College (SFC) for multiple flight training devices.
The contract covers delivery of:
One Cessna C172S Flight Training Device (FTD)
One Piper PA44 FTD
Multiple C172S desktop trainers
These devices will be deployed across SFC’s flight training facilities in Australia, strengthening the college’s infrastructure for ab-initio and multi-engine pilot training.
This marks the second collaboration between the two parties. In 2024, U-Wing delivered a C172S FTD to SFC’s Tamworth base. That unit received dual certification from both the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).
