USA – Cirrus Aircraft has launched Mission Ready Simulator Sessions — a complimentary, year-long structured simulator training program developed specifically for Cirrus SR20 and SR22 owners, now live at participating Cirrus Training Centers across the United States.
- The program delivers 24 structured, mission-based simulator sessions released twice per month, with owners able to complete one session per month — up to 12 annually — providing a continuous, scenario-driven proficiency pathway across the full training year.
- All sessions are developed by Cirrus Standardised Instructor Pilots and built around operational missions that integrate real-world aeronautical decision-making, aircraft systems knowledge application, risk management, and the purposeful use of Cirrus aircraft features including Safe Return Emergency Autoland and the CAPS parachute system. Realistic ATC communications are embedded within each scenario.
- The program is described by Cirrus as the first phase of a broader investment to expand flight training content — positioning Mission Ready Simulator Sessions as the opening element of a longer-term safety-through-continuous-learning strategy.
- Owners can enrol through the Cirrus Approach platform and complete sessions at participating Cirrus Training Centers nationwide. Content updates are delivered within the first week of each month.
- The launch follows Cirrus's broader 2025 training investments including the new Cirrus Approach app, the Instrument Rating Program, and the expansion of Vision Jet flight training simulator capability at its Scottsdale facility — all announced as part of Cirrus's 2025 annual performance report.
