Texas, USA – Aviation distance-learning provider CPaT Global has introduced its ATR 72-600 Cockpit Procedures training module, providing pilots with an interactive platform for flight deck familiarisation and cockpit procedure practice. The addition is intended to support airlines and training organisations in preparing pilots for practical training and reinforcing procedural knowledge.

  • CPaT's wider Cockpit Procedures Trainer supports three training modes: Demo, Practice and Perform. These allow pilots to study cockpit procedures, rehearse operational flows and undergo knowledge assessments through an interactive 3D cockpit environment.
  • The training platform incorporates procedures based on aircraft manufacturers' Flight Crew Operating Manuals, allowing pilots to develop familiarity with cockpit flows and procedural triggers before simulator training.
  • Airlines can use CPaT's content-authoring capabilities to customise cockpit procedures training materials to reflect their operational requirements and standard operating procedures.
  • The ATR 72-600 addition complements CPaT's existing aircraft systems training portfolio, which includes initial and recurrent ATR 72-600 computer-based training, ATR 72-600 to ATR 42-600 differences training and interactive aircraft systems diagrams.
