Czech Flight Training Group F AIR Deepens Boeing Partnership Through Area 100 KSA Assessment Implementation

Czech Republic – F AIR, one of Eastern Europe's largest flight training groups by fleet size, has highlighted its cooperation with Boeing through a program focused on implementing Boeing's assessment solutions for Area 100 KSA — the competency-based training and assessment framework covering the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes required of future airline pilots.

• As part of the cooperation, F AIR's theoretical knowledge instructors participated in a two-day practical workshop delivered by the Boeing team, covering Boeing's modern assessment framework and its application within competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) delivery.
• The workshop introduced structured tools for evaluating how student pilots develop KSA competencies during theoretical training, supporting more consistent and measurable implementation of CBTA principles across F AIR's program's.
• Area 100 KSA is a core EASA requirement focused on non-technical competencies including decision-making, communication, workload management, and leadership within pilot training — disciplines that have become an increasing regulatory and operational priority across European approved training organisations.
• Six F AIR theoretical knowledge instructors participated in the workshop: Filip Bartůněk, Miroslav Srnec, Martin Vecko, Ivo Rozmanit, Petr Kousal, and Ladislav Crkva.
