Czech Flight Training Group F AIR Implements Boeing Area 100 KSA Assessment Solutions

Czech Republic – F AIR, one of Eastern Europe’s largest flight training groups by fleet size, has initiated cooperation with Boeing to implement Boeing’s assessment solutions for Area 100 KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes), reinforcing its transition toward structured Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) in theoretical instruction.

• The partnership focuses on integrating Boeing-developed assessment tools aligned with EASA’s Area 100 KSA framework, which emphasises decision-making, communication, workload management and leadership competencies within pilot training.
• Over a two-day intensive workshop, F AIR’s Theoretical Knowledge Instructors (TKIs) responsible for 100 KSA delivery completed hands-on training in the practical application of the assessment tools.
• The workshop included a live demonstration of a Formative Assessment conducted with F AIR students, illustrating structured competency measurement in an academic environment.
