Denmark – Center Air Pilot Academy (CAPA), an EASA-approved flight training organisation based at Roskilde Airport, has announced the addition of student accommodation near its training facilities. The expansion is intended to allow more student pilots to live close to the academy's classrooms and aircraft while supporting its developing pilot training activities.

  • CAPA's existing accommodation facilities include its Cloud Base campus, which the academy describes as having approximately 35 student rooms, alongside Alpha, Bravo and Charlie campuses located adjacent to its main training building.
  • According to CAPA, the additional housing will reduce the need for students to travel between their accommodation and training facilities while providing opportunities for shared study, interaction and community activities. Existing campus facilities include communal kitchens, living areas and laundry facilities.
  • The development comes as CAPA continues to accommodate international and airline-linked pilot training cohorts. In September 2026, the academy welcomed its first group of 16 Finnair Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) cadets, who relocated to Denmark to undertake their training.
  • AFM previously reported that CAPA placed an order for 11 Tecnam training aircraft in April 2026, comprising 10 P-Mentor single-engine aircraft and one P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft. The academy subsequently confirmed the arrival of two new Tecnam aircraft in June 2026, expanding its training resources at Roskilde.
