Dublin’s Airline Flight Academy Aims to Support Ryanair’s Goal of Hiring 1,200+ Entry‑Level First Officers in 2026

Ireland – Airline Flight Academy (AFA), an Ryanair Group’s pilot training partner based in Dublin, has reiterated its commitment to supporting the airline’s significant crew requirements with an ambitious recruitment plan for 2026. The academy is working closely with the Ryanair Group to prepare pilots for entry‑level First Officer roles, targeting more than 1,200 hires this year. AFM previously reported that AFA, which operates 737NG and 737MAX flight simulators, has celebrated close to 300 pilots conducting APS MCC training with them in 2025.
