Dutch Airline Partners with Electric Flight School to Train Future Pilots Starting 2026

Netherlands – Corendon Dutch Airlines and E‑Flight Academy have announced an innovative pilot training partnership beginning January 2026, in which a portion of ATPL training will be conducted using electric aircraft. The program aims to combine sustainable training with guaranteed airline integration.

  • Students enrolled will split their training between Teuge and abroad, integrating electric flight hours into the syllabus
  • Training is structured to align closely with Corendon’s airline procedures, giving graduates a fast track into pilot roles at Corendon
  • E‑Flight Academy, already known for pioneering use of electric aircraft in training, will provide curriculum, simulator and flight hour delivery
  • Corendon will offer students exposure to cockpit ride‑alongs, operational training, and industry practices to help integrate graduates smoothly into the airline
