Netherlands – Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT), an EASA-certified Approved Training Organisation, has entered into a partnership with KLM for the provision of type rating training for pilots of KLM Cityhopper, the regional subsidiary of the KLM Group operating the Embraer fleet.
The partnership will see DAT contribute to the training and continuous development of KLM Cityhopper pilots as well as the standardization of operational procedures across the carrier's Embraer fleet. The contract positions DAT as a type rating training provider for one of Europe's largest regional jet operators, with KLM Cityhopper operating Embraer E175 and E195-E2 aircraft across the KLM Group network.
In 2025, DAT expanded its Embraer training capabilities with approval to deliver TRI and SFI training for the Embraer 135/145/Legacy platform including Line Training and LIFUS authority.
