Spain - EAS Barcelona has taken delivery of the first two Tecnam P-Mentor aircraft as part of a wider fleet modernization and expansion program that will see additional aircraft joining the academy over the coming months.

The aircraft were collected directly from Tecnam's production facility in Capua, Italy, where a team of EAS Barcelona flight instructors and marketing team completed the acceptance process before conducting a ferry flight back to the school's main training base at Sabadell Airport, near Barcelona.

Designed specifically for modern flight training, the Tecnam P-Mentor combines advanced avionics, low operating costs, and fuel-efficient Rotax power plants, making it an increasingly popular choice among flight training organizations across Europe.

The arrival of the two aircraft further strengthens the European Aviation School of Barcelona's position as one of Spain's largest flight training organizations, supporting both integrated and modular pilot training programs. The academy currently operates a fleet of more than 30 aircraft and continues to invest in modern training infrastructure to meet growing demand from aspiring airline pilots.

"The addition of the P-Mentor represents another step forward in our commitment to providing students with access to modern, airline-oriented training platforms from the earliest stages of their flight training," says Luis Prieto, head of admissions for EAS Barcelona.

Following their arrival in Sabadell, the aircraft entered final preparation and branding before being introduced into the school's training operation.

The delivery marks the latest milestone in EAS Barcelona's ongoing investment strategy as the academy celebrates its 10th anniversary and continues expanding its training capabilities for future airline pilots.
