Egnatia Aviation Announces 2026 Grand Opening of Lydia Aerodrome and Flight Display Event in Kavala

Greece – Egnatia Aviation has announced a Flight Display Event on September 19-20, 2026, marking the Grand Opening of Lydia Aerodrome in Kavala, Greece.

• The event celebrates the opening of Lydia Aerodrome as a new operational facility within Egnatia's Kavala-based infrastructure, adding to the organisation's existing training campus at Kavala International Airport and representing a significant expansion of its aerodrome footprint in northern Greece.
• The Flight Display Event is open to individual pilots, aircraft owners and operators, aerobatic and display teams, flying clubs, historic and military aircraft operators, and other aviation organisations, with expressions of interest accepted via info@lgkm.aero.
• Interested participants are invited to submit their name or organisation, aircraft type(s), proposed display or participation activity, and contact details, with operational arrangements and schedules communicated to selected participants closer to the event.
• In January 2026, Egnatia launched the Egnatia Group, unifying its training, engineering, and airport operations under a single corporate structure.
