Egnatia Aviation Strengthens Airline Partnership with Iraqi Airways Delegation Review
Greece – Egnatia Aviation, one of the countries largest flight training organisations, hosted a delegation from Iraqi Airways’ Training Management, led by Captain Ali Hasan Hadi and Captain Mohammed AlKhafaji, reaffirming its role as the exclusive training provider for Iraqi Airways cadets under its Airline Integrated Programme.

The Iraqi Airways team reviewed Egnatia’s training syllabus to ensure full alignment with the airline’s policies and procedures, and conducted check flights to validate that instructor standards meet Iraqi Airways’ operational expectations.

Active cadets met with the delegation and gained clarity on the specific requirements to transition into Iraqi Airways’ flight decks.

The delegation toured Lydia Aerodrome, witnessing Egnatia Aviation’s infrastructure—including modern aircraft, simulators, on‑site maintenance, operational support—and saw the scale of its annual training capability of over 32,000 flight hours.
