EgyptAir Signs LoI with Acron Aviation for A320neo FFS

Egypt – simulator manufacturer and pilot training solutions provider Acron Aviation and EGYPTAIR have signed a Letter of Intent for a Reality7e Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator during an Egyptian delegation’s visit to Acron’s London Training Centre.

  • Acron said the visiting delegation included representatives from EGYPTAIR, Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation and the British Embassy in Cairo.
  • Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation separately confirmed that Minister Sameh El-Hefny met Acron Aviation President Ron Nye during the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow. The meeting was attended by EGYPTAIR Holding Company Chairman and Chief Executive Ahmed Adel and EGYPTAIR Planning Sector Head Ayman Thabet.
  • The discussions covered flight simulation, operational training systems and knowledge transfer for pilots, cabin crew and maintenance personnel.
  • The academy already operates an A320neo/ceo Level D Full Flight Simulator manufactured by the former L3Harris Commercial Aviation (now Acron Aviation). The device entered service in December 2020.
