Egypt's Air Cairo Places Order for 15 Airbus A320neo Aircraft as Fleet Target Rises to 130 by 2034

Egypt – Air Cairo has placed a firm order with Airbus for 15 A320neo aircraft at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, marking its first direct aircraft acquisition from the manufacturer.

• Air Cairo has expanded from seven aircraft five years ago to more than 45 aircraft today and is targeting a fleet of more than 130 aircraft by 2034. Airbus said the additional capacity will support expansion across the airline’s domestic, regional and international network.
• The agreement introduces directly owned aircraft alongside Air Cairo’s existing leased Airbus fleet.
