Australia – flight simulator manufacturer ELITE Simulation Solutions is proud to announce the sale and delivery of an S623T Twin-Engine AS355 Helicopter Simulator to Corsaire Aviation, based in Perth, Western Australia.

Designed to replicate the Airbus AS355 TwinStar with exceptional fidelity, the S623T AS355 flight simulation training device provides an immersive and highly accurate training environment for both ab-initio and advanced helicopter operations. The simulator will support Corsaire Aviation’s expanding rotary-wing training portfolio, enabling efficient, high-quality instruction across a wide range of instrument and multi-engine scenarios.

This delivery marks another milestone in ELITE’s growing footprint in the Australian helicopter training market, representing one of several ELITE helicopter simulators delivered to Australia over the course of the past few years. The continued adoption of ELITE devices highlights the region’s strong demand for advanced, regulation-compliant synthetic training solutions.

The S623T AS355 simulator delivered to Corsaire Aviation will be approved by CASA as a CAT B FSD2 device, allowing pilots to log significant flight training credits, including:

• 5 hours of dual instrument time toward the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
• 25 hours toward the Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
• 20 hours toward the Instrument Rating (IR)
• 2 hours of dual instrument time toward the Night VFR rating
• Instrument Proficiency Checks and Recency, including both 2D and 3D instrument approach operation

By combining high-fidelity flight dynamics, accurate avionics simulation, and robust regulatory approval, the S623T enables operators to enhance safety, reduce operational costs, and maximize training effectiveness – while keeping pilots firmly within approved credit limits.

The S623T AS355 Twin-Engine Helicopter Simulator is scheduled for installation at Corsaire Aviation’s Perth facility in May 2026, with entry into training operations planned shortly thereafter.
