USA – training aircraft manufacturer Elixir Aircraft has delivered its first three aircraft to US customers, comprising two aircraft for Cirrus Aviation in Florida and one for Sierra Charlie Aviation in Arizona. The deliveries introduce a new FAA-certified training platform to both schools and establish the first operational base for Elixir’s planned North American fleet growth.

Founded in 2015, Elixir Aircraft is a French aircraft manufacturer headquartered in La Rochelle, with US operations in Sarasota, Florida, and approximately 240 employees. Its two-seat aircraft has been certified under EASA CS-23 since 2020 and FAA Part 23 since 2025 and uses the company’s Carbon OneShot one-piece carbon-fibre airframe process; Elixir reports fuel and maintenance costs of approximately USD50 per flight hour. The company reports 60 aircraft in service and a backlog exceeding 300 aircraft, including firm orders, pre-orders and letters of intent. Elixir received a EUR13 million French government grant in 2023, was selected by ENAC in 2025 to support renewal of its VFR training fleet, introduced the higher-payload Elixir+ in April 2026 and raised EUR45 million in July 2026 to launch the Equinox aircraft program.
