entrol Completes H125 FNPT II Factory Acceptance Test for Tunisian Air Force

August 19, 2026

Spain & Tunisia – Spanish flight simulator manufacturer entrol has completed factory acceptance testing (FAT) in Madrid for an H125 FNPT II simulator being supplied to the Tunisian Air Force, with installation in Tunisia set as the next project stage.

  • One H125 FNPT II simulator completed its Factory Acceptance Test in July 2026, with Tunisian Air Force pilots and technical officers evaluating flight dynamics, system logic and mission capabilities over several days at entrol’s Madrid facility before signing the FAT documentation.
  • The manufacturer’s H125 simulation platform is based on the Airbus H125/AS350 and can be supplied from FNPT/AATD through FTD and FFS configurations. Available capabilities include Garmin avionics, HeliSAS-based autopilot representation, customer-defined airport databases and training applications covering instrument procedures, type rating, proficiency checking and mission scenarios.
  • entrol also offers H125 platform options including vibration and motion systems, spherical visuals, Night Vision Imaging System capability and a mixed-reality hoist operator station.
  • The project extends an existing training-systems relationship between entrol and Tunisia’s Ministry of National Defence. An entrol en-4000x FNPT II MCC was installed at the Borj El Amri flight school in September 2024 for Tunisian Air Force personnel and civilian pilot training.
  • That en-4000x is a reconfigurable SEP, MEP and jet simulator with a 200° x 45° visual system and a database covering Tunisian airports and selected North and Central African locations. Its customised capabilities include FLIR-based functionality, initial NVIS training and formation-flying scenarios.
  • entrol had earlier supplied a Bell 429 FTD Level 2 to the Tunisian National Guard in cooperation with Amentum. That device was customised around the National Guard’s Bell 429 configuration and included mission-training features covering infrared-camera operation, initial NVIS, formation flying and vibration simulation.
