EPA Training Center and Pan Am Flight Academy Launch 2026 Brazil ATP-CTP Roadshow

Brazil & USA – Brazilian simulator training provider EPA Training Center and US-based Pan Am Flight Academy will hold a two-city ATP-CTP roadshow in Brazil in October 2026, targeting Brazilian pilots seeking to complete the FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program in Miami. The initiative builds on the organisations' July 2026 representation agreement, with EPA managing the Brazilian pre-training process and Pan Am delivering the FAA-approved course in the United States.

• The roadshow will take place in São Paulo on October 14 and São José dos Pinhais/Curitiba on October 16.
• Under the operating model, EPA provides Portuguese-language support in Brazil covering pre-qualification, prerequisite assessment, documentation, enrolment, scheduling and a pre-travel briefing. Pan Am subsequently delivers the ATP-CTP training in Miami.
• ATP-CTP is required before an applicant can take the FAA knowledge test for an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with an airplane multiengine class rating. FAA requirements specify at least 30 hours of academic instruction and 10 hours of training in Flight Simulation Training Devices.
• Pan Am's published ATP-CTP syllabus consists of 30 hours of classroom training, four hours in a fixed-base simulator and six hours in a full-motion simulator. The academy runs ATP-CTP classes weekly from its Miami facilities and states that the program can be completed in approximately five to six days, depending on scheduling.
• EPA states that Pan Am's wider simulator fleet gives Brazilian customers access to training platforms covering the Airbus A320 and A330 and Boeing 737 NG/MAX, 747-400, 757, 767 and 777, alongside regional aircraft platforms. Pan Am reports more than 20 owned Full Flight Simulators across its current training operation.
• AFM previously reported that Pan Am Flight Academy and EPA Training Center signed the representation agreement in July 2026, establishing a Pan Am commercial presence in Curitiba through EPA. The October ATP-CTP roadshow is one of the first publicly identified pilot-facing initiatives resulting from that partnership.
