Epic Flight Academy Welcomes New September 2026 Pilot Training Intake at New Smyrna Beach Headquarters

Florida, USA – Epic Flight Academy has welcomed its latest flight student orientation group at its headquarters campus at New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport, continuing regular pilot training intakes at the Florida location during 2026. AFM counted 27 individuals in the orientation photograph shared by the academy.

• New Smyrna Beach is Epic's headquarters and original training location. The academy provides FAA Part 141 and Part 61 pilot training, with its New Smyrna Beach offering including full-time and part-time pathways.
• The headquarters campus also offers Epic's six-month Fast Track Pilot Program, launched in June 2026. The accelerated pathway covers Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Single-Engine and Commercial Multi-Engine training and is currently offered only at New Smyrna Beach.
• AFM previously reported that Epic welcomed 22 new flight students to New Smyrna Beach in July 2026, followed by another orientation intake at the headquarters campus in August. The latest group continues the academy's recurring student intake activity at the site.
• Epic's wider flight-training operation is currently supporting approximately 600 active flight students. Its aircraft fleet exceeded 70 aircraft during 2026 and includes Cessna 172 Skyhawks, Piper PA-44 Seminoles and, following a September fleet addition, Tecnam P2006Ts for multi-engine training.
• The academy is also preparing for another fleet platform introduction after being selected as launch customer for the Pipistrel Voyager in July 2026. Epic committed to an initial 10 aircraft for delivery in 2027, with options that could take the acquisition to as many as 50 aircraft as the type is deployed across its US campus network.
