The sale is being managed by Finn Business Sales (The Finn Group) and includes the school's full asset base: aircraft fleet, training infrastructure, hangars, and administration building at Bunbury Airport, located 145 kilometres south of Perth on the coast of south-west Western Australia.
Bunbury Flying School offers pilot training from recreational through to commercial pilot licence level, including operational ratings for instrument, instructor, and multi-engine class ratings, as well as endorsements for tailwheel and aerobatic operations. The school has an established team of administrative staff and pilot trainers in place.
The listing highlights a continual flow of forward bookings for trainee pilots and positions Bunbury Airport's location as advantageous for training, with no waiting to get airborne compared to city-based schools — a factor relevant to training throughput and aircraft utilisation.
