Etihad Aviation Training Adds New Airbus A350 Door Trainer in 2026

United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi-based aviation training provider Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) has installed a new Airbus A350 Door Trainer manufactured by UAE-based Spatial Composite Solutions. The addition expands the centre's aircraft-specific cabin crew training capabilities, supporting practical door operation and safety procedures training for airline customers.

• Spatial confirmed that the A350 device was manufactured at its Ras Al Khaimah facility and has successfully completed Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at Etihad Aviation Training. The manufacturer stated that the equipment has been installed, signed off and is ready for cabin crew training.
• The new trainer will support hands-on familiarisation and practical instruction in A350 aircraft door operations, enabling cabin crew to practise aircraft-specific procedures in a ground-based training environment.
• EAT's existing cabin training facilities support normal and emergency door operation, evacuation slide procedures, fire response and water evacuation exercises. Its equipment includes door trainers with both real and virtual slide systems, cabin service and safety trainers, and a swimming pool with slide raft.
