United Arab Emirates – Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Aviation Training is seeking to recruit a full-time Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to deliver ground-school training for student pilots, flight crew members, instructors and examiners.
- Candidates must have at least five years of experience delivering theoretical knowledge instruction, preferably at an EASA- or UAE General Civil Aviation Authority-approved training organization conducting integrated ATPL or Multi-Crew Pilot Licence programs.
- The successful candidate will deliver instruction across multiple aviation subjects in accordance with approved syllabi, regulatory requirements, training manuals and Etihad Aviation Training standards.
- Responsibilities include monitoring trainee progression, providing feedback, intervening when performance concerns arise and maintaining regulatory training records and reports.
- The instructor will work with the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to maintain standardized course delivery and incorporate current regulations, instructional methods and operational practices into the training syllabus.
- Applicants require a college degree or equivalent qualification, operational knowledge relevant to the subjects being taught and compliance with the applicable CAR-FCL and CAR-ORA requirements. Holding, or having previously held, a professional pilot licence is listed as advantageous.
- Etihad Aviation Training operates 11 Airbus and Boeing full-flight simulators and seven flight training devices at its Abu Dhabi facility. Its FFS inventory covers four A320 devices, one A330, one A380, one A350, one Boeing 777 and three Boeing 787 devices.
