Etihad to Hold Pilot Recruitment Roadshow in Istanbul in August 2026

Türkiye – UAE  carrier Etihad Airways will hold an in-person pilot recruitment roadshow in Istanbul on 11 August 2026 for Captains and First Officers, bringing its Pilot Recruitment and Flight Operations teams to the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel.

• The campaign is open to both Captains and First Officers and is intended to provide information on fleet opportunities, recruitment pathways and career progression. Family members are also permitted to attend.
• Etihad states that First Officers joining the airline can have command opportunities in as little as three years, while Captains can pursue positions beyond line flying.
• The recruitment campaign is linked to Etihad’s Journey 2030 plan, under which the airline is targeting a fleet of more than 200 aircraft and a network exceeding 125 destinations.
• Etihad operates a fleet of 128 aircraft comprised of 48 Boeing 787s, 20 Airbus A320s, 15 A321s, 11 A321LRs, 10 A350s, nine Boeing 777s, seven A380s, two A330s and six Boeing 777 freighters.
