Germany Headquartered Lufthansa Aviation Training has announced the appointment of Manual Meier as the new Managing Director of Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland (LAT CH).

LAT CH is an Approved Training Organization (ATO) including type rating training, whose courses are approved by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) in accordance with the rules and regulations of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), as well as by many other aviation authorities.

With its state-of-the-art facilities, which range from computer-based training to various full-flight simulators and cabin emergency trainers, LAT’s training environment is as close to reality as it is possible to get. The company also offers web-based options for a number of its training courses and for various aircraft types.

Swiss Aviation Training Ltd. was renamed to Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland Ltd. and is part of Lufthansa Aviation Training Group since January 2017.
