Hungary – Hungary's Defense Procurement Agency has launched a procurement for Airbus H145M and H225M helicopter simulator training services for the Hungarian Defence Forces covering 2027 and 2028. The tender carries a maximum contract value of HUF385.83 million (approximately US$1.18 million), excluding VAT, and seeks an external training provider with access to simulators for both helicopter types.

The contracting authority has committed to purchasing at least 70% of the maximum contract value, equivalent to approximately HUF270.08 million (US$829,000), under the proposed training services agreement. The total contract ceiling including VAT is HUF490 million (approximately US$1.50 million).
Planned expenditure is HUF188.98 million (approximately US$580,000) in 2027 and HUF196.85 million (approximately US$604,000) in 2028, excluding VAT. Training will take place at the successful supplier's premises or a designated training centre, with the contract expected to run until 31 December 2028.
The procurement was published in the European Union's Official Journal on 18 September 2026 under notice 645737-2026 and internal reference 1-092/2026. Requests to participate must be submitted by 28 October 2026 at 10:00 Central European Time.
Applicants must demonstrate at least HUF100 million (approximately US$307,000) in completed helicopter simulator-operation or simulator-time provision contracts during the preceding 36 months.
The procurement follows a negotiated procedure under Hungary's defense and security procurement legislation, with the lowest price serving as the award criterion. Applicants must have access to H145 and H225 helicopter simulators meeting the technical specifications detailed in the participation documentation.
