Georgia – Flight training organisation Blue Sky Academy, which is headquartered at Kladno Airport in the Czech Republic, has been rapidly expanding its operations in Georgia, offering a growing number of EASA-compliant pilot training programs in a country that offers ideal weather, low-traffic airspace, and diverse terrain.
Blue Sky Academy operates both in the Czech Republic and at its second base in Natakhtari Airport, Georgia, with a focus on training private and professional pilots to European standards.
The Georgian base has grown from a single student to over 80 trainees since its opening two years ago.
Students train on Cessna 150 and 172 aircraft, with plans to expand the fleet further. Training is supported by a helicopter simulator and a fleet of well-maintained, avionics-equipped aircraft.
The school attracts students from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine offering Aviation English courses and EASA-compliant theory instruction.
Students can seamlessly continue training between the Georgia and Czech Republic locations without administrative delays due to EASA alignment.
Practical flight instruction is complemented by simulator experience, online theory, and programs including PPL(A), PPL(H), IR(A), ATPL(A) Theory, Night Rating, and CPL(A).
The academy recently introduced helicopter training in Georgia with EASA validation for the Guimbal Cabri G2 and Eurocopter EC120.
