Switzerland – AELO Swiss Academy, powered by AeroLocarno based at Locarno Airport, has shared an update on the construction of its new headquarters. The upcoming AELO Swiss Academy headquarters will serve as the new central hub for AELO’s operations across Switzerland and Italy and open in the summer of 2025.

The building will include dedicated training facilities and flight simulators.

• AELO has seen a strong increase in demand despite raising tuition fees and tightening admission criteria, reflecting a long-term approach focused on reputation and quality.
• The academy fully integrates Evidence-Based Training (EBT) and KSA 100 methodologies, ensuring students develop competencies required in modern airline operations.
• AELO states that unlike flight schools that maximize enrollment numbers without sufficient resources, AELO maintains sustainable student-to-instructor ratios to avoid training delays.
• Two-thirds of AELO’s 37 flight instructors are active airline pilots from Swiss, Lufthansa, Air Dolomiti, Ryanair, DHL, and more, providing students with real-world airline exposure.
