Europe – GreyBird Pilot Academy, the Denmark headquartered pilot training group founded in 2013, has reported a record-breaking June 2026 with the highest production of both flying hours and theory lessons in the academy's history, alongside all-time high interest and enrollment across its bases in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Ireland.

  • GreyBird operates its proprietary SmartBird core management system, developed in-house to track student progression through theory examinations and flying lessons, providing real-time visibility into training pipeline performance.
  • The record production month follows GreyBird's recent expansion into Finland (new base opened in 2026) and planned expansion to Norway, alongside the academy's existing operations in Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, and Spain.
  • GreyBird indicated new initiatives launching in the coming months that will "redefine pilot education" and address barriers to entry for aspiring commercial pilots.
