European Wet Lease Operator’s Pilot Training Academy Conducts Type Rating and Base Training on A330 for Cadets in October 2025

Portugal – ACMI and charter operator Hi Fly has completed another round of its Airbus A330 Junior First Officer Programme, with cadets successfully finishing their A330 type rating at the airline’s training base in Beja.

Hi Fly had launched its Junior First Officer Program, inviting aspiring EASA-licensed pilots to register for a partially self-sponsored pathway into long-haul commercial aviation. Participants receive comprehensive Type Rating training, followed by line training across Hi Fly’s global network, including ETOPS routes and transatlantic sectors.
