Europe’s Training Aircraft Lessor Has 45 Aircraft Deployed as of 2025

Europe - training aircraft lessor Green Aerolease has announced a new partnership with Italian manufacturer Tecnam Aircraft to launch a dedicated leasing program for Tecnam’s range of piston aircraft, designed specifically for flight schools across Europe. The collaboration supports fleet renewal and modernization while reducing financial barriers for pilot training providers.

• Green Aerolease currently operates more than 45 aircraft across eight European countries, offering eco-efficient models powered by Rotax engines, including the Velis Club, Velis Explorer, P-Mentor, Elixir, and B23.

• The new partnership introduces a turnkey leasing offer for four Tecnam models:

  • P2008JC

  • P-Mentor

  • P2010

  • P2006T NG

• The leasing program enables flight schools to renew or expand their fleets without heavy upfront investment, with CAMO maintenance, insurance, and operational follow-up included under an all-inclusive, pay-as-you-go model.

• By bundling maintenance and operational support, Green Aerolease aims to simplify aircraft management, increase availability, and allow flight schools to focus on training rather than logistics or asset ownership.
