Exail and Fosen High School Strengthen Their Partnership for Aviation Maintenance Training

Norway – Exail is pleased to announce the expansion of its collaboration with Fosen High School (Fosen videregående skole) in Norway, reinforcing the school's commitment to delivering high-quality aviation maintenance training through advanced simulation technologies.

As the aviation industry continues to evolve, training organizations face increasing demands to equip future maintenance technicians with both strong technical knowledge and practical experience. To address these challenges, Fosen High School has integrated Exail's simulation solutions into its training curriculum, providing students with realistic learning environments that mirror operational aircraft maintenance conditions.

In August 2023, Fosen High School selected Exail to equip a dedicated aircraft maintenance training classroom with nine student stations and one instructor station based on Exail's B737 Maintenance Training Device (MTD). The simulator enables students to develop troubleshooting skills, gain familiarity with aircraft systems, and perform maintenance procedures in a safe and controlled environment while preparing for real-world aviation operations.

Building on the success of this first deployment, Fosen High School has now further expanded its training capabilities through the acquisition of Exail's B737 Touch Screen Maintenance Trainer (TSMT). Designed specifically for aircraft systems understanding and maintenance troubleshooting, the TSMT delivers an immersive learning experience through full aircraft simulation, animated schematics linked to simulation models, and advanced fault diagnosis exercises. The addition of this new training device reflects the school's continued investment in innovative educational tools and practical aviation training.
