Czech Republic – Czech EASA-approved flight training organisation F AIR has welcomed five cadets from Viet Flight Training JSC to its Karlovy Vary base for the next stage of their professional pilot training. The intake continues an overseas practical-training pipeline supporting Vietnam Airlines-linked pilot development.

  • Karlovy Vary is F AIR’s primary base for international cadet and airline pilot training, with accommodation for more than 100 students and access to a controlled airport environment.
  • F AIR and Viet Flight Training established their training relationship in 2023 after the Czech academy received Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam approval and signed an agreement with Vietnam Airlines and its training subsidiary.
  • Viet Flight Training’s cadet pathway includes one option which conducts domestic PPL training followed by six to 12 months of CPL and instrument/multi-engine training overseas. Students then return to Vietnam for ATP theory, MCC and jet familiarization before airline training.

F AIR reports more than 40 aircraft, over 3,000 graduates and 20,312 flight-training hours completed in 2025.
