Fast-Growing Southern California Flight School Expands Training Fleet with Tecnam P-Mentor

California, USA – Axiom Flight Services, a Southern California-based flight training organisation, has selected the Tecnam P-Mentor to expand its training fleet alongside its recently acquired Tecnam P2006T MkII twin-engine trainer, in a deal facilitated by Cutter Aviation — the authorised Tecnam dealer for California and Arizona — announced at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on 24 July 2026.

• The P-Mentor joins Axiom Flight Services' recently acquired Tecnam P2006T MkII, creating an integrated fleet supporting ab-initio through commercial and multi-engine ratings.
• The P-Mentor serves as a state-of-the-art primary trainer for initial flight training students, while advancing students transition to the twin-engine P2006T MkII for commercial and multi-engine ratings.
• The fleet expansion is designed to serve growing student enrolment, reduce scheduling bottlenecks, and support rigorous programme development for professional pilot candidates across Southern California.
• The transaction was facilitated by Cutter Aviation, the authorised Tecnam dealer for California and Arizona.
• Tecnam's single- and twin-engine training fleet can save up to 10 tonnes of CO2 emissions per Commercial Pilot Licence student — a 60% reduction compared to a 100LL fleet across 155 flight hours including 30 hours in a twin.
