Fast-Growing US Flight Training Group Seeking VP of Operations for Multi-Site Fleet Planning and Expansion Role

March 23, 2026

USA – A large Part 141 pilot training group based in the United States is seeking to recruit a Vice President of Flight School Operations — a senior leadership role spanning multi-site operational management, fleet planning, and growth strategy at an organisation reporting year-on-year revenue growth exceeding 30%.

  • The VP of Flight School Operations will lead long- and medium-term fleet planning and fleet utilisation optimisation across the school's existing and planned locations, with responsibility for establishing new training sites and driving expansion at current campuses.
  • The role carries accountability for cohort completion timelines and the creation of a collaborative operational and flight standards culture across multiple training locations — a function that reflects the complexity of managing standardised pilot output at scale across a distributed Part 141 network.
  • The position requires experience managing change associated with new training technologies, positioning the organisation's technology adoption strategy as a core operational responsibility at VP level.
  • Preferred candidate profile includes multi-site management experience, familiarity with FAA Part 141 or Part 142 regulatory frameworks, and strong data fluency — the latter reflecting the organisation's emphasis on data-driven decision-making in fleet utilisation and student throughput management.
